Dan Geddes President and CEO

Dan Geddes has served as president and CEO of Total Grinding Solutions (TGS) for close to 10 years. Recognized worldwide as one of the top experts in centerless grinding, Dan began his career over 30 years ago as a global service technician for JTEKT‐KOYO. He went on to hold various positions of increasing responsibility at that company, and was eventually named vice president of the USA group. For nearly three decades, Dan has worked on grinders and machine tools manufactured by Toyoda, Seiko Seiki, Toyo, Micron, Okuma and others. Dan brings an unparalleled depth of experience to TGS that can only be gained by rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands into the process solution. Having installed grinders (1,500+) on nearly every continent, Dan is rarely stumped by even the most challenging grinder application.

Joseph Giacalone – Partner

With nearly 30 years of grinder experience, Joseph Giacalone was instrumental in the development, engineering and build of TGS’ centerless grinder. Joseph’s current responsibilities at TGS include operations, finance, purchasing, quality control and manufacturing as well as application assistance and process development. Joseph’s management style epitomizes the TGS “hands on, whatever it takes” approach to customer service. Joseph can often be found on the runoff floor side by side with our customers, running machines, gauging parts and lending his experience to every application. Whether an experienced customer or a novice, you can count on Joseph to share his grinding expertise with manufacturers worldwide.

Anthony Giacalone – Partner

Anthony Giacalone has been selling grinders and grinder components for over 20 years. Anthony serves as the main sales contact for TGS, taking the customer through the buying process and beyond, always sharing his passion for machine tools. From his first stint in sales over two decades ago, Anthony has learned that the best way to interact with customers is to serve as a partner rather than a vendor. Over the years, Anthony estimates that he has worked with 1,000+ grinding customers located worldwide.
